C O N T A C T

This is the pseudonym, love child and creative outlet for the only slightly insane Crystal Baker-Manning.

Artist, designer, writer, insufferable know-it-all, purveyor of fine microwavable cakes, pine-cone smuggler, excessive tweeter, indoor squash vagabond and outlaw, fantasy lover, competition enterer and general outright nerd.

This is my writing space. It started out as a release in my first year at uni: in a new city with no friends, I got pretty lonely. For some reason, after spilling coffee on my keyboard, I started a blog. Ironic, but I would write things on scraps of paper and scan them in. Later, as I regained use of a keyboard, it became the home to a sort of madness that Twitter has graciously become the guardian over. Soon into the second year of my degree, I fell in love with writing. I started writing short stories, only delving into poetry when I was sick (when I'm sick, I think in rhymes). Eventually, it overflowed from occasional writing to constantly. This is the place where I post all my writing' the good, the bad and the (hopefully not) ugly; my experimentation with form and style, and other bits of tid. Occasionally you will see a humorous post, but probably only because I would have gotten paranoid that my mind and writing is too intense and y'all need to lighten up a bit, yeah. And here we are. I've finished my degree (in fashion design) and I have aspirations and plans to take over the costume industry, and hopefully the world of literature. Join me.

I have links to my Tumblr, my insipid Twitter, and will soon have either a fully functioning pretentious-creative-extraoridinare website or some form of art and design blog (most likely on Tumblr, because man, I am cool like that).

If you would like to contact me for any reason, e-mail me on:

crystal.tamara@hotmail.com

or use your preferred social network platform. If you feel what I do, let me know, either in comments, e-mail, regular mail, carrier pigeon, raven or owl.

Thanks for visiting. Bon Voyage!
